Dr. Christopher Shieh
Dentist
Dr. Shieh graduated Dentistry from South India - Chennai in 2006. He then practiced dentistry in Chennai- Tamil Nadu for 6 years. He relocated his residence in 2012 to Canada where he studied Dentistry at the University Of Western Ontario in order to obtain his North American credentials. On June 2016 he graduated and was the honored recipient of the Dr.George Bedrosian Memorial Award in Restorative Dentistry for overall excellence in four combined disciplines.
Throughout his career, Dr. Shieh has studied and worked extensively in the fields of Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry. He trained in Laos with the Ministry of Health in Implants in 2008 and completed a dual Fellowship in Implants in 2009 (India) and 2016 (USA). He is currently pursuing his Mastership and Diplomat for the same. He has also obtained a Fellowship in Soft Tissue Laser Dentistry in 2009. In addition, Dr. Shieh is dually qualified to provide Nitrous Oxide sedation from the University of Western Ontario as well as the Manitoba Dental Association.
Dr. Shieh attends Continuing Dental Education in various disciplines, pursuing the boundaries in his fields to provide the best treatment options to his patients. He is self motivated, caring and committed to providing exceptional and comprehensive patient care. His biggest asset is his down to earth and approachable manner.
On a weekly basis, Dr. Shieh helps out in church, and has been involved with several mission trips to the Dominican Republic. He has also volunteered his time serving the Red Cross for years in India treating thousands of underprivileged patients.
He is a Life member in the Indian Society of Biomedical Scientists, Red Cross, Indian Society of Oral Implantology, and the Indian Dental Association. He is also a member of the Manitoba Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association and the International Dental Implant Association.
Dr. Shieh loves travelling the world and experiencing various cultures and cuisines. In his free time he loves the outdoors, fishing, socializing and cooking with his lovely family (wife - Dr. Zarine Alexander and son - Maximus Shieh).
Dr. Zarine Alexander
Payroll
Dr.Zarine Alexander is in charge of the HR, supplies and budget forecasting in Dr. Sen & Sen Family Dental Clinic. She takes cares of employee relations, diversity, ethics, organizational development, staff management and payroll. She believes that harmony, compliance and positivity are the key elements for the success of an organization.
She is a medical doctor who graduated from Fr. Muller's Medical College in India. She has successfully achieved the Canadian Medical license and will be pursuing her residency after her maternity leave.
Dr. Zarine Alexander enjoys spending time with her family and tries to get them interested in her hobbies like gardening, music and crafts. She is married and blessed with two beautiful kids.
Dr. Alan Schweid
Dentist
Dr. Schweid graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry University of Manitoba in 1970 and has been practicing General Dentistry in East Kildonan ever since. He is a life member of both the Manitoba Dental Association and the Winnipeg Dental Society and in the past, president of the Manitoba Chapter of the Alpha Omega Dental Faculty.
Dr. Schweid is married and has two grown children and five grandchildren. When he is not working, he enjoys movies and music (all genres), he is also a avid golfer.
Andrea
Reception
Andrea was born and raised in the West end of Winnipeg. She graduated from Red River College as a Dental Assistant. In 2000 she joined the practice and has been a part of the welcoming front desk team with Tine. You can usually find Andrea with a smile, greeting patients and making them feel comfortable. She has enjoyed getting to know many of the patients and their families.
When she’s not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, at Jets and Bombers games or at the lake. You can also see Andrea and her family volunteering at many events throughout the city.
Tine
Reception
Raised in Steinbach area, Tine attended Red River College for Business Administration. Her passion to help other people and her technological talent brought her into the Dental Administration field. She worked at Steinbach Dental Clinic for almost five years were she met Dr Sen. Seeing what a great dentist he is, she decided to join Dr Sen and Sen Family Dental Clinic in 2018 and co-pilot the front desk with Andrea.
When she is not at work she loves spending time with her family and especially her husband together they enjoy any outdoor activities such as downhill skiing, canoeing, fishing and hiking.
Tamara
Hygienist
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Tamara graduated from the University of Manitoba School of Dental Hygiene in 2003. She started working as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH in June 2003 and has been at the practice ever since. She has really enjoyed getting to know her patients over the past 16 years.
Tamara is married to her husband Joel; she has a daughter, a son and a sheltie. When she is not working she enjoys spending time wither her family and friends. She has fun doing zumba, watching movies, playing games and doing escape rooms. She really loves being outside walking her dog, riding her bike, kayaking, cross country skiing and enjoying the great outdoors
Susan
Hygienist
Susan is a graduate from the University of Manitoba, School of Dental Hygiene. She has been practicing as a dental hygienist for over 20 years.
Susan is an avid sports fan and spends her free time cheering on the Bombers and Jets. She also enjoys traveling, reading and movies.
Marynell
Dental Assistant
Marynell is a Registered Dental Assistant graduate of CDI College in August 2017. She enjoys meeting new people, providing patient education and comfort as well as building long-term relationships to improve patient’s experience during dental treatment.
Outside of work she enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Jeff
Dental Assistant
Jeffrey Lamorena is a Level II Registered Dental Assistant. A graduate of CDI College (Batch 2016), Jeffrey finished his studies with honors. He has been an involved, honor student throughout his academic career both in Canada & the Philippines.
When not donning scrubs, Jeffrey likes to pore over books with his young siblings or try to cook new, exotic recipes for his family.
